What is d4damage?
d4 > abbrev. a pyramidial
die with 4 (four) sides. numbered 1 to 4, the rolled outcome being the
number around the lowest visible edge.
damage > n. injury impairing
value or usefulness of something.
d4damage is a bit of an 'in joke', I used to play role-playing games, such as dungeons & dragons, and all my mates took the piss - in the game d4damage is what you got if someone stabbed you with a fruit knife or hit you with small stick. Whenever we were out and someone grazed their elbow or got a paper cut it'd be 'ahhh, d4damage!' .... and so it was born.
